This coin reminds the holder of the temporary nature of the human condition. Every single thing and every single phase in our lives and in this world is transient. Nothing lasts forever. Good times come to an end. So do the bad ones. Be it anything, everything changes over time.

Our coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques.

The coins were chemically aged so the patina looks great right out of the package and will look even better with more wear from handling and daily carry. The coin is treated to look as if it has been handled and circulated. Coloring and patinas may slightly vary. There are no identical coins!

These coins are unique and are akin to a traditional military challenge coin.
